Mexico City, December 2, 2020.— The prestigious international publication The Banker today recognized Banorte as the “Bank of the Year 2020” in Mexico for its profitability and results, driven by the development of digital channels and the growth of its processes self-service, in line with its commitment to transform banking for the benefit of its customers.
One of the main attributes taken into account in the recognition of Banorte is the growth in various of its digital transactions of 2 to 3 digits so far this year, especially through its Banorte Móvil mobile application, with which it has been managed to reduce the volume of transactions carried out in the branches to less than 4% of the total.
Likewise, The Banker recognized the accelerated migration of Banorte towards self-service with an increase in the level of satisfaction of its customers, NPS (Net Promoter Score for its acronym in English), driven through its work culture in "Cells", multidisciplinary teams created with the aim of exceeding customer service expectations.
